A smart card payment system named AvanchiCard was introduced in 2013. The name AvanchiCard comes from avanchi, which means advance or move forward in Jèrriais – Jersey’s traditional language. The name was chosen by Jersey’s children and young people through a competition organized by local schools.

- Monthly or annual passes allow unlimited travel for the duration of the pass.

The 1 day pass is valid on the day purchase until midnight that night. The 2, 3 and 7 day passes can be purchased at any time and valid from the first time you use them on the bus for 2, 3 or 7 consecutive day finishing at midnight on the last day.
