What are the documents required while travelling on SAPTCO Bus?
For Saudis and Citizens of GCC Countries: You’ve to produce the original copy of,
- ID card.
- Family card for companions (in case the companions do not have their own ID card).
- Students: Identification letter or a valid student ID card to take advantage of any free or return travel opportunities.
- Persons with disabilities: Social Affairs Card (to take advantage of any reduced fee in travel opportunities).
For Citizens of Non-GCC Countries:
- Residence permit or a valid passport for visitors.
Ticket Refunds
Tickets issued using credit cards and MADA cards can be refunded through the website (if conditions allowed). Tickets issued using SADAD can only be refunded in cash from one of SAPTCO Main Stations (if conditions allowed).
- Full priced tickets: Refunded in full less a cancellation charge of 35%.
- Discounted, advance purchase and special promotional tickets: Regarding change of trip or date and refunds in the event of cancellation.
- Tickets are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and Expired tickets: Not refunded.
- Partly used tickets (e.g. customer alights before his booked stop): Not refunded.
